This 152 page editorial project is an adaptation of an online article, all about the best album’s of the eighty’s. This was a piece focussed primarily on the editorial being a special issue of a monthly subscription to Pitchfork. I love really experimenting with type and body copy layouts within my
Best Album’s of the 80’s
editorial pieces, and so within this project there were lots of different adaptations of type placement. I chose to evoke music levels throughout my spread designs. I created a pattern/system as to which columns had different sized sections of body copy throughout.
